Onam is one of Kerala’s most celebrated festivals and represents unity, prosperity, happiness, and togetherness. The celebration provided an opportunity for students to come together, enjoy the festive spirit, and appreciate an important aspect of Indian culture.
The event saw the participation of over 50+ students and staff members, who joined the celebration with great enthusiasm. The conference hall was decorated with traditional red and yellow floral decorations, creating a vibrant and festive atmosphere. A simple pookalam (floral arrangement) was also set up at the venue, adding a traditional touch to the celebrations.
Students embraced the occasion by wearing traditional Indian attire, contributing to the colourful and cultural atmosphere. Various activities were organised to encourage participation, interaction, and team spirit among the students. The activities were well received and created an enjoyable and engaging environment.
Prizes were awarded to the winning participants in recognition of their enthusiasm and participation.
Snacks and refreshments were also provided, giving students and members an opportunity to relax, socialise, and enjoy the celebration together.
The celebration also served as a wonderful opportunity for students to interact outside the classroom, build connections, and celebrate cultural diversity together. The positive participation and enthusiasm demonstrated by the students contributed significantly to the success of the event.
