On October 10th, our college hosted an engaging Freshers’ Evening that provided students with invaluable opportunities to network with potential employers and gain insights into the wide range of support services available on campus. The event was a collaborative effort, bringing together both the college’s support teams and YMCA, which highlighted essential services for students. Attendees had the chance to hear from inspiring speakers who offered guidance on navigating their academic and professional journeys. The atmosphere was vibrant, and students were enthusiastic about making connections that could shape their future careers.

We are incredibly grateful to the companies that participated, including DIZZ Group, BigBon Group, Move Smart, Konnekt, Jobs Plus, Malta Enterprise, FCM Travel, GO, and Kavallieri Rugby & Football Club. Their presence gave students real-world insights into various industries and opportunities available post-graduation. This event was not just about career prospects but also about fostering a community where students can find support and motivation to excel. We look forward to continuing such initiatives to empower our students as they embark on their academic and professional journeys.

A new partnership unveiled

Global College Malta (GCM) and Profi University (PU) are thrilled to announce a new partnership, marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to expand educational offerings through dual degrees and hosted programs. This collaboration will enable students in Uzbekistan to pursue internationally recognized degrees from GCM while studying at PU, offering a unique blend of local and global perspectives in higher education. The MOU outlines joint efforts in curriculum development, faculty exchanges, and shared resources, ensuring that students benefit from a high-quality, comprehensive academic experience. With a focus on areas such as business management, finance, digital transformation, and leadership, the programs are designed to prepare students for successful careers in a globalized world.
 
The partnership between GCM and PU not only strengthens academic ties but also contributes to the growing demand for international qualifications within Uzbekistan. Students enrolled in these programs will have the opportunity to experience both institutions’ expertise, benefiting from GCM’s international accreditation and PU’s local insights. Through this collaboration, GCM and PU are setting a foundation for future educational initiatives, including joint research, professional events, and further degree offerings, which will foster innovation and professional growth in the region.

Our recent visits to the Malta Science Centre offered our students a valuable window into the world of local innovation and entrepreneurship! These trips, made possible through the dedication of our lecturer, Mr. Anthony Bonello, gave students the chance to engage directly with Malta’s vibrant startup ecosystem. Connecting with emerging companies allowed students to see firsthand how creative ideas transform into impactful projects, sparking inspiration for their own potential careers. The experience underscored our commitment to providing students with not just academic knowledge but also industry connections that can propel their future success.
 
We are incredibly grateful to the Malta Science Centre for hosting us and opening doors for such enriching experiences. Opportunities like these not only empower our students to think outside the classroom but also build meaningful connections within our local community.
