Global College Malta was proud to serve as one of the organisers of the VI International Student Conference on Sustainable Innovations and Green Transition. This meaningful collaboration marks the beginning of our partnership with University College CEPS, which was formally established in December through the signing of a joint cooperation agreement. We are honoured to be CEPS’s first partner institution from Malta.
Our College was represented in person at the conference by Professor Rabiyathul Basariya, alongside students Belicia Ria Dsilva and Ashi Sonahee. We are especially pleased to highlight the outstanding contributions of our students, who actively participated and showcased their research developed in collaboration with their mentors.
Belicia Ria Dsilva presented a paper entitled AI and the Green Transition: Making Europe’s Festivals and Conferences More Sustainable, offering valuable insights into the intersection of technology and environmental responsibility. Ashi Sonahee delivered a compelling presentation on Understanding Generational Equality: A Youth-Centred Study from Global College, highlighting the importance of inclusivity and equity from a student-led perspective.
Following the conference proceedings, our delegation was kindly given a tour of the CEPS campus, providing an opportunity to learn more about the institution’s work, facilities, and commitment to student development.
We greatly value this new partnership and look forward to deepening our collaboration with University College CEPS through future initiatives that support academic excellence, cross-cultural exchange, and sustainable innovation.
